Economic Preview: Slower economy could support market?

"..WASHINGTON (CBS.MW) - The Federal Reserve has been trying to slow the economy for 15 months. This week, we finally get the evidence that they've done it.

The highlight of the coming week's economic data comes Friday with the first estimate of third-quarter gross domestic product. On Thursday, the Labor Department will report on third-quarter employment costs.

The scheduled data also include September existing home sales and September durable goods.

GDP and ECI are the big numbers...."
