The Bible and its characters are and always have been the imagination of God Himself. God was merciful when he created human beings and for that reason alone, I give Him praise.

Whether or not the Bible has injustices in it proves to be a matter of opinion. If someone in the Bible was murdered by God, then it was done in a justifiable manner. God, I admit, does and has done many things I couldn't even begin to imagine myself trying to explain, but that's not for me to explain.

I believe as you do, and I am a Christian. I look forward to changing the minds of some of the posters here. It is, after all, our sworn duties as Christians to do so. The Bible indicates in several places that it won't be easy being a Christian, just well worth it! My prayer is that we honestly look at the Bible with open minds as we discuss our differences.
