relooking for Nutso
I think perhaps pets mourn for their pet-friends as we do and as they mourn for their owners if their owners vanish.
We are dogsitting my son's dog and its been months now (he went to Europe and is extending his stay I guess): at first Luce would go over to my sons truck (it's stored here while he's away) every day looking for him. But now he's used to us and barks when we come home for greeting.
But I know when he leaves the other two dogs will look for him for a while: he visited once before and they looked everywhere. And when one has to be away for grooming or a vet visit, the other one is VERY concerned.
Of course none of them like it when we are gone.
Pets are so precious, whoever started "pets" I thank them!
