Sig - From Merrill this morning- IDC saw unit growth for Q3 on a worldwide basis of 18.3% and Dataquest said the number was around 15.2%. The average would suggest that unit shipment growth was in the area of 16-17% range, which is in line with our unit forecast.

Looks like Kumar was a little low. Likewise the rest of the pundits.

it's a good theory. but, not happening. did you see the strong server growth numbers earlier? no price wars there either
