Eric,
Technically options expire at the close but you have till noon Saturday to complete a transaction as far as exercising or not.
ADCT's in the Money start at the $25.00 strike price for October and run to about $50.00.
I'm guessing what you are wondering about is closing the open interest on a particular strike price maybe??
Example: October 25 strike price on ADCT calls.
there are several hundred contracts out.
Which leads me to figure that's the best you can
hope for today.
At least in that range based on the average price
paid for the options. (say the average price were
$0.75.) I would guess a max closing price right at
25 3/4.
You would have similar limits on the "Put" side also based on the open interest and how powerful the persons (MM's) or group is holding the contracts.

But I've always felt even the biggest company can be manipulated price wise in the short term! If there is a concentrated effort and there is a powerful enough with a common interest in the stock. (By that I don't mean they have to call each other on the phone either. All they have to be doing is thinking in the same direction and the movement happens)
Here again this is just a concept. It may not make a bit of sense but I do believe it's possible. Maybe not probable but hey! Sittin' here at the computer??? What else do I have to do?) :-)
