"NT is going to put the nail in the coffin for optical worry"

But who was worried? It wasn't any of the fiber optic companies. Alls we had was ONE analyst who no one hardly knew throwing gasoline (his bad report on the fiber optic industry where he touted LU - of all companies.. - and ripped NT and CSCO) on to a fire (the bad market and the fear surrounding that).

In short.. for those that follow the industry there never was much "worry". The only "worry" was some bad telco's going out of business (that will happen) and the BAD market (the only real worry). Everything else was fabricated.

And get this.. IT WILL BE FABRICATED AGAIN whenever the powers 'that be' decide that, for whatever reason, they want to write more 'fear' articles during down markets. So nothing will really change after all.

SDLI, JDSU and NT will all beat earnings easily (if they don't it's because they have deffered some of the revenues for a 'rainy day'). CSCO will beat, by a penny, again... so NOTHING CHANGES. And for the folks that follow the industry - our perception hasn't changed either. ONLY THE MARKET HAS CHANGED.
