"The supremes have already decided that failure to register an illegal gun(or a gun owned illegally) is not a crime, since the registration would be an admission of guilt -- therefore self incrimination." That is the most skewed line of reasoning I've ever heard of...why would we want to not catch the criminals? Let the police figure out whether its an illegal gun or not thru blind luck and charge them then... sometimes I wonder about the system of justice in your country.. it is far too politicized in my humble opinion.
