Goutama,
RE:"I have a different opinion than yours.
P4 hype will not work as effectively as it does now once P4 comes out."

This I can agree with. But I can't say it will be a complete reversal of P4 perception. Intel will contiue to "wiz bang" hype after the Willy launch.

RE:"AMD will be even in a better position going into Q3'01 -hint:SMP. The Mustangs/durons(or poliminos sp?) will become the most favorite processors with SMP. Use of AMD duel processor systems will become pervasive in gamers, high performance PCs, workstations, and low end server segments."

Maybe so but in terms of Mhz, P4 will be at 2.0 and maybe SMP. Too litle is know of Clawhammer, Sledge hammer and investors are yet a little hesitant to put their money on anyone that wants to buck Intel. THIS COULD change as you suggest. At that point AMD will be 2 years after running SMP in the lab and P4 will have a DDR solution.

RE:"Going into 2002, AMD will have Clawhammer, sledgehammer to take on Intel. AMD is going to be $7 Billion to $8 Billion(revenues) company in the year 2001, and AMD will come out of Intel shadow in a big way with accompanying higher share price."

Too little is known of Clam and Sludge right now. P4 is the immediate focus. P4s Mhz and FUD will make certain fund and institutional holders feel more confident in Intel. I expect Intels shares to make it back to at least the 50s this year. Hopefully, AMD can get back to 30 in the same time frame.

Jim

Cool.

Now all AMD has to do is figure out how to make SMP work with those DooWrongs and PaloNiiceguys !
