Re: "Because US taxpayers financed it and Israel wanted to settle the Gaza?"

First, Kiryat Gat is NOT located in the Gaza strip.

It is located about 35 Kilometers Northeast from the city of Gaza - which itself is in the upper region of the Gaza strip. Kiryat Gat is approximately half way between Gaza and Jerusalem.

Second, Financing for the Fab 18 in Israel came from two sources - Intel - $ 1 Billion and the Israeli government - $600 Million.

AMDroids will surely think this is an evil plot - taking money from the government of Israel.

Only righteous money from the German Saxony government should be used to help finance wafer fabs.
