How do you figure that? AMD's chipset was double pumped, but used only single pumped memory.

Eric,

Remember that Intel is depending on Via for DDR chipsets in the consumer market. <ggg> And their famous quad pumped bus will only become a double pumped bus with DDR.

I don't think so. The northbridge - CPU connection will be 100 MHz quad pumped. Northbridge- memory connection will be 100, 133, 166 MHz double pumped. It will be asynchronous design, as are all Via chipsets.
