CNBC didn't report the other rumors until shortly before 3, when the deal broke up. I didn't see them elsewhere. Glad I'm not the only one thinking of offing himself over this. You take enough beatings in the market, you want to be there for the rare gifts. :-(

Strange that Faber didn't report those other rumors. Maybe he didn't want to touch GE, which owns CNBC.

Next time a company of mine gets bought out, I'm holding at least until the formal announcement. Lesson learned.
