If a man drops a stone, what is the probability of it falling up?

Nearly 100% if the stone is pumice and the man is under water! Or about 50% of the time if he is over a trampoline. I'm not being flippant, just pointing out that many things we think are certain (especially as word problems) are fuzzy due to the lack of completeness of the specification of the system. In an earlier post I was talking about flying at 750 km / hr at 10k Meters. What conclusions should I draw about travelling this high and fast? Can I do it without the airplane? Many questions entirely depend upon context.

I can kill 1000's of cells and not be dead. I can kill 1 million cells and not be dead. Eventually, I will be dead if I kill enough of my cells. This is a better example.
