Phil, that's an intelligent question, imho ... and imho you can take it one step further - Why would they try some salvaging 'improvement' effort on the users of go2net 'look and feel' when those of us who have watched this site develop under the Dryers and then deteriorate under go2net tend to use the pseudo-classic 'look and feel'? ... i take back my call for fairness, it was clearly misapplied, i hadn't caught on to the fact that old-timers were excluded from the testing ... in all fairness, maybe fairness should be withheld until they admit that huge mistake and resurrect real SI. Which had, among its outstanding features, an excellent search function.
