thought you understood that it is not that it isn't offered in the US it is that it isn't offered - IN THE Workplace 401k, nor is any other gold fund. While I would never suggest anyone should put all their money(or any for that matter) a very big part of the issue is that Most people do not even have a single precious metals investvestment vehicle available in their workplace!! A great many Americans have the greatest % of their wealth in their workplace 401k.

If none of this pool of funds is allowed to move into precious metals - is there ever a chance?
