They cannot go against the law, a patent
grants a monopoly on the invention protected.

Are you clueless? Do you know what a patent is? A legal monopoly! Get a clue Jim. the people that the DOJ should be looking at are the memory cartel and the chief head Micron. But they may already be doing that. ;-)
