Spousal unit and I were talking about the lottery.

I don't play it but I said, if I did, I'd almost certainly make as few changes as possible for the first 3 months after winning. Then maybe, I'd think, with much deliberation, about what I'd want to do.

A couple years back a rumor swept across the production floor that the whole line had won the lottery. Fear and panic amongst the managers spread as they imagined the next day without any production workers. Turns out they'd won something like 25 dollars each. End of panic.

I think we should live everyday like we won the lotto. Every breath I take and with every heartbeat I've beaten the odds and the law of entropy. At least for a while.

Well, I was working late on my book and caught up a bit on this thread. Pretty cool!

Why do most people almost always avoid today??

Maybe it's just because they forgot what day it is.
