Hi Gus
Maybe it's just me but what you are describing to me, sounds an awfully lot like God. eg (self- existent, absolute, rational, transcendent, and immanent) I'm not sure you would add personal to that list but it sounds like God to me. Yet you say your an Atheist, So what am I missing? Why couldn't the self-existent, "absolute sense" make something that although contingent, really exists?
Did you listen to that debate? I'm interested to hear what you thought of it.
Have a good day
Greg
