The Newsweek poll of 800 likely voters was taken Oct. 18-20 and has an error margin of 4 percentage points.

The Michigan poll of 600 likely voters was conducted Oct. 16-19 and has an error margin of 4 percentage points.

The Sun-Times-WFLD poll of 600 Illinois likely voters was taken Oct. 16-17 and has an error margin of 4 percentage points.

The tracking surveys are made up of a rolling daily sample of about 400 likely voters each day to create a three-day sample of about 1,200.
