My belief is that -- though originally the street felt the deal would NOT go through -- that has since changed (though there are those who continue to doubt the deal will close). I believe the arb spreads have narrowed considerable (but I could be wrong as I haven't been following that closely). It does not appear there are any customers who will fight the merger, as they will likely benefit in lowered cost and, perhaps, in other perks. At worst, facilities will be divested...and some other f/o players may get some deals there as well. Corning comes to mind. Fortunately, all the players are doing fabulously and the issues are less 'control' related than 'supply' related. FWIW, I hold both stocks as well as others in the sector.
