...AltaVista does reach 17.7% of Web users versus 7.0% for Google Who is "Penelope Patsuris, Forbes.com"???? Does she realize that Yahoo! uses Google.com for it's engine? There is no way in h*ll that Altavista beats Yahoo! I did my own search engine analysis and 60% of the hits came from google.yahoo.com, 15% from google.com , another 5% from au.google.yahoo.com, and a few % from search.netscape.com, looksmart.com, and altavista.com. Granted that my little survey was not statistically meaningful, but I really need to know the credentials of "Penelope Patsuris, Forbes.com" before I accept her word.
