Hi Grace, I'm glad you aren't arguing that!

As you get higher on the income scale more of your income is derived not from your own labor, but from the labor of other people.

I think I would of said to this person who told you this: So a high income earner is punished for employing the labor of others? Sounds fair to me.

It is not fair 10 percent would be fair in my opinion. The more you make the more deductions and tax shelters are available for your use. If for no other it is due to the capital you can afford to outlay in terms of best way to structure your income.
