Flynt isn't stupid. He'd probably want to do it as close to the election as possible to try to cause a last-minute impact that couldn't be responded to in time. I think he might have leaked this earlier than he wanted to, because Gore is slipping in the polls and the dems can't afford to let him get too far behind before letting loose the big cannons. Expect more scumming over the next few weeks. And remember, Gore is committed to avoiding negativity and personal attacks...well, on him.
