I examined the Infineon website. I found that most of the many, many products listed there had extensive support services available: datasheets, product sheets, user manuals, training courses and materials, and, very importantly, OrderCode numbers. The item described by your reference had none of these - just some pretty block diagrams and a sales pitch. I'm sorry but I remain skeptical that this ASIC is actually available to OEMs. I do, however, completely agree that they have announced this device.
