Al Gore succeeded in keeping nukes out of the hands of Iran. Don't believe the spin, read the substance. There's a reason the press never picked up on this charge which was the GOP leaking a top-secret memo which could hurt us as a country. The reason the press ignored it is because it actually improves Gore's stature on international affairs. Of course such agreements have to be done privately and three was nothing illegal about it. Just a promise not to give nukes to Iran. I was very impressed with Gore when I read about this.
