Why not a thread about religion? "That which mankind holds most dear" varies depending on where you are, or when you lived. That's interesting isn't it? We discuss that. As for "helping" mankind- it's hard to know whether religion helps or hurts isn't it? Religion seems to cause an awful lot of pain- both personally and interpersonally. How do we weigh the pain against the gain? An interesting question- which has nothing to do with whether or not any particular religion is "true"- something no one seems to be able to prove at the moment. So I wonder- does the bulk of good done by all religions outweigh the bad done by religion? And can we even know what the bad and what the good is?

guessing you feel you can help mankind to understand that that which they hold most dear & what they feel is helping them is actually holding them back.

You better sit down for this, Catcher: You don't represent mankind--NEITHER does Christianity. Most of the world disagrees with you.

you forward the position on a site that is focused on investments

SI Coffee Shop has very little to do with investments.

you have it all over us commoners.

I'm far more common than you will ever be, my young friend.
