But only a tiny percentage of the shares of a company are traded on any given day. If the whole enterprise were put up for sale, the stock price would plummet.

The fact is that only a small percentage of the folks that read GG understood it, and only a small fraction of those have the discipline and patience to practice it. If Gorilla Gamers represented a large percentage of the investing population, we'd be back to 100M/day trading on the nasdaq, since we buy a stock with the intention on holding it for years.
