This election looks to be about turnout. The same Newsweek poll that had Bush ahead among likely voters, has Gore ahead among all registered voters. It's close, regardless of how you break it down. It's turnout, and location. Electoral College looms large. Bush's pileup of the popular vote in Texas will not get him more than 32 Votes there. Hey, there's a thought: how many of the GOPwingers on this thread hail from the Lone Star, anyway? Sort of neat to think that all that venom gets spent in one place where it won't have make much difference!
