Doesn't matter to me. It is relatively or absolutely true. You might share the mechanism, but it is still Santa. When I was in the Navy I developed the ability to tell where people were from, usually within one state with similar prowess. I have a very good ear for sounds and became an excellent mimic. Probably, some biological reason for that because I'm not a very good shot compared to others of more skill (Edit: and that was many). Not terrible, just not good.

So, somewhere along the evolutionary trail this ability was preserved. You may have a very good intuition which is no doubt tuned to a variety of cues. I wouldn't be surprised if you can't describe the exact mechanism. I tell this same thing to other engineers about my DESIGNS.

I always reverse engineer my designs from right brain abstractions. It is very unsettling for some left-lobe dominant people. I am ambidextrous, dyslexic, and ambi-lobed. I can move easily from left to right hemisphere without a hitch. It is unsettling for some people, because I'll be solving an equation one minute, and cracking some silly joke a second later.
