Bilow, pricewatch now shows RDRAM at $150. But not much linearity so I don't think that will hold till at least I see that whole first page at $180 and below. However, I think finding PC800 RDRAM at below $199 and PC600 at below $170 will not be a problem at all during the P4 launch. And we still have a month to go.

On the other hand, Micron, Hyundai and Infineon must be getting creamed with SDRAM prices so low. Anyone know what's the break even price point for them. I think SDRAM prices are well below that, but I'm not sure. Making RDRAM maybe the only thing making sense going forward since Micron been saying that DDR is same as SDRAM price wise, yet it will cost even more for them to make and test it than SDRAM. So with DDR they'll be losing even more money. Seems to me that RDRAM is the only memory that makes sense for MMs to produce right now and especially with the P4 coming strong in a month.
