Carl, if the IP is so "obvious" how come NONE of the lawsuits is attempting this argument as a reason to overthrow the patents. It seems to me you could be one rich retired SOB if you took the time to patent the obvious. ggg

To my knowledge, none of the Lawsuits are seeking to overturn Rambus' patents on the basis of "obviousness", so this is a non-issue here, at least until some layyer thinks it is and adds it to the suits.

That's #4 in all semiconductors (includes Intel). Samsung is a run away #1 in DRAM. Hyundai and Micron are distant 2 and 3. And Samsung is actually continues to increase market share in the #1 position.
