DAK,

Interesting charts shown by Allan. The INTC chart certainly has be worried, for various reasons I can easily see it plunging further.

Always wondered who Allan meant by "smelly"... I think I have it now. Smelly = SOX. (OK I'm a little dim at times -g-)

Regarding that, I just have to answer the following questions...

(i) Do the companies that make up the SOX make money?

(ii) Are they making increasing profits?

(iii) Is there a fundamental case to say..yes the SOX represents a high percentage of the overall economy?

(iv) The business case for the companies on the SOX looks good?

NOW, if the answer to any of those questions is a NO, I believe we are headed lower. Probably much lower.

Otherwise, we may indeed see da_cheifs "recognition wave" talked about earlier IMHO.

rgds,

pearly.

dAK, I've reread this post a number of times. Could I ask you to rephrase the question? What is "this time"? How do you think it is different?

(ps: Pearly,

da chief is in way over his head. Like the NYSE parrot, he has done well over the years, but now he is useless.)
