Would appreciate any feedback on two stocks that have events coming up this week.
Stock #1..(MSS) Splits 2:1 tomorrow and has earnings release either Tuesday or Wednesday. Stock has had fantastic run over past few months. CEO featured in IBD article this past week. Look at earnings growth projected over next 12 months...40%.

Stock #2.(INKP)Just got FDA approval for a drug that addresses one of the major cancer prevention problems. Colon cancer is #2 cause of cancer deaths and currently the best method of prevention is via the undergoing of a colonoscopy to detect polyps before they turn into cancer. The biggest draw back hasn't been the actual test, but rather the method of cleansing the colon for the desired results from the test. Until now, the method of cleansing was by the patient having to drink a quart of what might be called the worst tasting stuff in the world....polyethylene-glycol or sodium phosphate.(If anyone has drunk either, they can attest to the horrid and foul taste of this stuff). INKP has just gotten approval from the FDA for the first pill that does just as an effective job of cleansing the colon as either of the liquid drinking methods. The pill will be available starting January 1, 2001. Needless to say, with about 7 million of these test(colonoscopies)being done this year and projections of 10 million by 2003, it would seem that INKP has a "bird-nest" on the ground with their pills vs. the liquids. Clinical trials indicated overwhelming bias to the pills vs. the liquids...and you can add me to this bias.
The CEO of INKP will be on CNBC tomorrow.."The Edge" with Ted David at around 5:30 p.m. He will talk about Visicol, the approved drug, and their drug pipeline. Another drug is in final Phase III testing.

Any feed-back on these two stocks will be appreciated. I own shares in both...needless to say!

Fair enough...I appreciate your reply...I was kinda 'quick on the draw' myself.

There is certainly a 'ponzi' flavor to our equity markets...but that can also be said of our economy. When it's all said and done, it is what it is till it isn't...not sure when that is.

Good luck to you as well,
SR
