Why did you choose to make that observation out of the countless others possible? Besides the reasons you have offered it is the only other reason that has ever been presented to me. I wasn't around before a graduated tax was imposed, so I was curious about how it was justified by those that originally proposed it. Both of you are innocent but neither of you march Actually I've formally protested quite a few of the governments actions including but not limited to those related to taxation. Would you like to see some of the letters I've written? And the quiet acceptance of the unavoidable "truth" mentioned by your friend, n'est-ce pas? People who know me have used any number of adverbs to describe my actions but they almost never use the words quiet or accepting.
