What is your take on the large number of undecided voter?

Very interesting question David. The media keeps talking about the large undecided vote! But is there? I believe it is a myth!

Looking at undecided likely voters: Zogby today has it at 8%, Gallup today has it at 5%, ABC today has it at 3%, and Portrait of America today has it at 7%. That would suggest that the undecided vote among likely voters is around 6 percent. And of course only likely voters count!

I believe there will be a record low voter turn out this election. I also disagree with NCAAP, I don't think there will be a larger than normal Black vote. Bush doesn't threaten the Blacks as much as previous Republican candidates.

I believe as a percentage Republicans will turn out the vote more than Democrats this election. They have been waiting a long time for a opportunity to get rid of this administration and now they have a chance.

Finally, I believe most polls underestimate the conservative vote by 1 to 2 percentage points because a lot of conservatives don't participate in polls because of their strong belief in the right to privacy.

All considered, I believe the undecided vote will break for the Republicans! Some may argue the vote of decided voters is soft, but I don't believe this is the case on the whole. I believe all these focus groups of undecided voters are a joke! There aren't that many undecided voters out there.<g>
