>> CSCO is valued by the market as if it is one of the best companies in the world

Mr. Market has got it right. Based on its performance over the past decade, it is indeed one of the best companies in the world. If you'd care to dispute that, I'd love to hear your reasoning.

Hi TM! :-)

Just to correct your post from a ways back, if you look into it I think you'll discover Barrons had no effect on Amazon during their Amazon bash brigade. Amazon started to lose its luster on wall street only when its top line growth started to stall, at which point any criticism became valid, including Barron's. But Barrons in no way predicted anything.

3) All it takes is a little change in the accounting rules and CSCO longs will be in a world of hurt

Do you think that if the accounting rules change, that Cisco will stand still and not change along with the changing environment? Do you think that the potential changes are going to come as a surprise to Cisco when they happen such that they will not have made plans for it?
