I did a paper on Hume in 1969 for Theology Class. His forte was religion. David Hume made remarks about everything, his value as a critic about Balance of Trade is suspect. Even as a philosopher he was of value only to the Existentialists of today.

I started to follow this thread a few days ago but it is so difficult to keep up, you are so prolific with respect to the depth of your remarks. I hope to catch up, good luck with your thread. You are obviously well thought out. I hope to learn something.
