You can relax, Tom; you did the right thing. You feel Cisco is losing share in the internet infrastructure space, and you feel Cisco's accounting practices falsely inflates their valuation. I take the latter to mean you have some doubts about the integrity of Cisco's management. If I were of similar beliefs, I would be out of Cisco in a New York minute. I'm not, so I continue to hold my sizeable position of csco LEAPS.

You've already sold your stock and incurred a taxable event; your decision isn't reversible. But for some reason you are expanding a lot of energy trying to justify your sale to everyone on this thread? Why bother? Nothing but the earnings report on November 6 will determine whether you were right or wrong. If it will make you feel better, check back on November 7 and we'll give you a report card.
