Okay, so it is a faith you are willing to denounce at a moment's notice, should it fail you. You say reason and experience have been good guides, but have you tried the alternatives? Pretty much the same deal with Bible thumpers, they feel they have gotten a really good deal out of Christianity, it has been a very good guide for them (or so they perceive).
