Navy re-enlistment was a Radio Headline News story I heard last week. It proved to me that Bush and Cheney are lying. We know what they are really trying to do, make Gore look un-patriotic and unmanly. Since Gore will out-spend Bush on defense it's an absurd criticism but it's the underlying character assasination attempt that's important for the GOP. Doesn't matter if it's lies, it's the way they work, just like the RATS ad. Can't run on issues so they try to turn a Boy Scout into a shady wimp. Like one idiot postwed here "No real man could vote for Gore". What a laugh. Bush and Cheney skipped out of their military obligations. While Gore enlisted for Nam. But the facts don't matter to the character assasins. "Compassionate" my a**. It's all just Tricky Dick dirty tricks all over again. Hopefully it will not work in the end.
