Reagan did some great things. At a cost though. Don't expect Bush Jr. to do anything as important. The S+L debacle was the Reagan Administration's responsibiity. One trillion down the drain. They could have stopped it at a fraction of that but didn't. Yes some democrats were involved too but what caused it was a Reagan Administration pet bill and it was signed with great enthusiasm. Campaign finance reform would have kept the S+L debacle from happening. Think about that for awhile.
