Glenn "I believe our role is much greater than you believe and the risks are much smaller." Now that is the basis of a much more sensible disagreement :) I only wish there was no history of revolutions, terrorism and assassinations in the ME. On that score we have not done so well. Remember the terrorism in Saudi Arabia? Remember the Shah of Iran? Remember when Iraq was a "friendly" state? Remember the assassinations in Egypt? In Israel itself? We do not control much of what goes on. The Dessert Storm coalition is dying. We cannot predict what comes next.
