CNN just reported Gore ranked in the middle of his class. So cut the "failing grades" BS. Bush was a slacker in school at all times. Got into Yale with a C average. But so what? Do A students always make the best leaders? Of course not. Clinton was an A student because he had to be. He was a poor kid who needed scholarships. But the difference with Al is he worked very hard for his entire professional career. Bush kept slacking up until very recently. Even his own campaign spin artists stick up for him for "relying on others to make policy". They call it good managerial skill to delegate important responsibity.
