In last week's CC, Don Scifres said he expected the merger to close before the end of the year. He wasn't more specific than that.

Jim, before the end of the year or sometime in Dec is about as specific as they have gotten. btw, agree with your comments on Barron's, Abelson. Who is Brinker? some tv guy? I can never remember their names
