The main reason for Bush folks to be optimistic now.

"In much of the country, Nader's presence on the ballot is not expected to have much effect. But Nader's low numbers in national polls obscure his real potential. Pollsters said that Nader's support is greater than the margin between Bush and Gore in six states: Oregon, Washington, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Maine, and Florida. Dick Bennett, president of American Research Group, which has surveyed in all 50 states, said that even a 3 percent showing by Nader in some states could tip the balance in Bush's favor.
Another wild card is Michigan, where Nader has avidly courted auto workers and union members.
Clearly, however, Nader's biggest impact is expected to be in Washington and Oregon."

If Gore loses, the real story might be NADER.

We strongly disagree with each other on this one. First of all, I could believe nearly any person could have been involved in or with an abortion at some point in their life. I would believe that equally about Bush, Gore, you or me. You have to remember that whatever happened in the 70's Bush's life changed significantly for the better after his marriage and his stopping drinking. He seems to be an inherently honest person. He comes from very good stock. His brother is our governor. Jeb is down to earth and is doing a great job here in Florida. But, most importantly, you are functioning from a very tainted position when your only credible source is, if there is anyone we should call this, a real piece of trash. Flynt, in my opinion, doesn't have a credible ounce of integrity, honesty, truth, moral fiber in his body. He is a moral and ethical loser. It amazes me Gore and Clinton embrace him. I imagine he does a lot of things for them; Dig up or manufacture trash on their enemies, contribute and solicit money from his peers of the underbelly of America for them, etc..
