RE:"What do you think of GE buying Honeywell and Welch hanging around for another year" Funny you should ask since GE is one of my larger holdings. I'm not sure about the first part but Welch staying is a definite plus. Even the competition like United Technologies speak of the man with reverence. That will probably help the stock tomorrow baring other disasters. OTOH, I don't know what the buyout will do for the stock price. Depends if it's perceived as a good buy or they paid too much. Typically it weakens the buyers stock as you know. Jim
