IMO, all those emails and memos and the rest of the dirt will come out when the nasdung collapses...individual investors that got burned will be calling for analysts heads and congressional hearings won't be far behind. The lay person will be disgusted when they even hear mention of the stock market. Maria Bartiromo will be trying to sell her lips to the highest bidder for use as collagen implants. Despite the good companies out there, when 90% of nasdaq stocks are trading at 10% of their current value or go out of business (history and probability favor this heavily, though I made the numbers up they can't be too far off), there can be no soft landing for the market. All IMHO of course. Meanwhile, let's all keep playing the game until the rules change.
