Yes, QCharts is my primary realtime package. The datafeed sucks very badly and one has to have a backup when scalping. On top of the QCharts feed, QFeed, one can run either QCharts or RavenQuote. Although RavenQuote is a much stronger platform, I had to stop using it because it has a bug in the line drawing tools that makes them useless in log mode.

One of the other drawbacks with the QFeed is the lack of long-term historical data (i.e., daily). Lots of charts only go back 3 years or so. Therefore, I use EOD data with MetaStock to do the long-term analysis. It's a pain but that's the way it goes.

So, RavenQuote/QCharts are the best realtime charting packages out there, but QFeed is seriously unreliable.

More reliable realtime feeds are available from eSignal and PCQuote. I have tried these with the various platforms that support them, including as feeds for realtime version of MetaStock and TradeStation. In the end, I prefer QCharts/RavenQuote, but there is not a day that goes by without me cursing the datafeed.
