Hello Sonny, Hope all is well. I took some money off the table and switched to bonds. I had bought SUNW at lows in April, and sold last week, took profit when I could. I had bought some INTC under 40 recently and today I sold Dec. calls strike 50 and took home little better than 2. I am selling Dec. Jan. and April calls on my remaining SUNW. This market doesn't forgive, so it is foolish not to take profit when one can! When is the Gov. will approve the AOL-TXW deal? Kind regards Yaacov

Hello Sonny, somthing for your eyes only! gg NT hat gestern die Zahlen für das 3. Quartal veröffentlicht. Mit einem Gewinn von 0.18 Cents/Aktie übertraf NT die Markterwartung von 0.16 Cents/Aktie. Als negativ für das 3. Quartal müssen jedoch die Verkäufe betrachtet werden, welche mit USD 7.314 mrd. unter den Markterwartungen liegen. Dies führte dazu, dass die Titel im After-hour Market rund 20% tiefer notierten. Der Grund für die schwächeren Verkaufszahlen liegt nicht im Markt für fiber optic equipment (jährliche Zuwachsrate über 100%) sondern viel mehr am Personal- und Komponentenmangel um die starke Nachfrage zu decken. Im weiteren haben viele Kunden ihre Inventare im 2. Quartal aufgestockt, was zusätzlich zu einem schwächeren, saisonal bedingten, 3. Quartal führte. Um diesen Faktoren entgegen zu wirken, hat NT bereits erste Schritte eingeleitet. Wir erachten diese Situtation deshalb als einmalig und sehen die Schwäche als günstige Kaufgelegenheit an. Wir empfehlen NT weiterhin zum Kauf (Pricetarget 12mth USD 90.--) Gruss PMU Europe ZH

Sonny ---I think you can understand why I wanted to get out in the spring and the summer . Their is so much mis-information being put out by the houses that it is out right lying . All three stocks I owned are over fifty to seventy per cent off their high's ( TXN,NT,QCOM ) . Well I have one thing the bastards do not have that I have in my favor is ----TIME . Their is nothing fundamentally wrong with any of the stocks except for the facts the houses want to buy cheap . Hope you and your family are doing well . This has been a frustrating period for all indivual investors but hopefully with the excuse of tax selling out of the way we will start to base and moved up . I am of the opinion this is Greenspan recession ---he cannot control oil prices so lets put the market in the tank ---eliminate the wealth effect and lets see what happens . We did not have a problem before with the economy but we sure do now . I think the gentleman needs to retire and let Andrea take care of him . The presidential race is still real tight ---I do not understand why Bush is not after Gore about energy and the lack of effect the 30 million gallons being release has had on OIL prices ?
