I am catching up with some work, after this last horrific week, with the denial of service attacks on the web site. I have to make a lot of changes shortly, just to keep the web site on the air, and defend against future attacks. I had a meeting on Friday afternoon with the technical people, and it seems that this episode is going to drastically change my plans for the site, since I will not be able to afford to give out the new stock charts module out for free. Apparently, for each new managed dedicated server, my cost to operate the site will increase by $2,000 per month. I can't believe it's come to this...what began as a hobby site that cost $79 a month to host. Ugh. ...but you are right, it IS time to retire for the evening. T.
