I'm not convinced that this is the case. As an extreme analogy, meaning no offense, if a million people proclaimed tomorrow that the Manhattan Yellow Pages were a product of divine inspiration, would that make it so? Is there really any more or less evidence to support this contention than there is to support the claim that the Bible is divinely inspired? I suppose it would be different if the Manhattan Yellow Pages themselves declared they were a product of divine inspiration. Sort of like "tooting your own horn." Nobody wants to hear it. But someone else can toot your horn for you all day long. Enough people do it and there's someone out there who will get tired of it very quick.
